Doctor told me to come to talk with you in 30min after operation. It’s been 3h kept saying coming in 30min. Eventually doctor went home without saying anything .Super funny hospital. Terrible service on the phone as well.
In general the nurses and doctors/ catering staff were great. Unfortunately at the end of my stay I woke up at night to a freezing room, and in pain, waiting for up to half an hour for pain meds. To make things worse I was told by the doctor to "go home and get my own medication" I was sent home way to early in my opinion with very little opportunity to have physiotherapy.

Just checked out from an overnight stay for ankle surgery and the entire experience was outstanding from beginning to end. I have had numerous surgeries and given birth at various private hospitals around Perth, and I would definitely rate SJOG Bunbury to be the very best. I haven't even checked in yet and I'm very unhappy with this entire process that has me scrambling to meet SJOG's sudden requirements, anxious about the entire process, and overall unsure about what to expect. My appointment was booked weeks ago, and then Thursday midday I get a call saying I have to fill out more forms. I was given such minimal notice and at such an inconvenient time (as I was told that it needed to be done that day and I was about to head inland) that I had to pull over on the side of the road somewhere th... read more
