It's sad that a local "hospital" is no longer a hospital it's only the Emergency Department, my son taken here on a mental health petition, when he was being transferred to a mental health care facility we told the social worker we didn't want him in any place in Detroit, we wanted him to go to Havenwyck as he and I have both received care there. Sadly, these "corporate" hospitals keep merging, and the level of care and respect continues to dip. Do better Henry Ford Health.
Brought daughter to er because urgent care said she needed to go right away due to blood in her urine and being dehydrated. And after arriving she was told by the nurse that they are discharging her because unless she's dying there's nothing they can do for her . How absolutely unprofessional that is to tell a minor that was referred there by another doctor , was specifically told by the urgent care to go because she would need imaging they took her blood and discharged her. Never again....
Was in professional building at Ascension Oakland Hospital Professional Building located at 27483 Dequindre Rd, for imaging. Filthy dirty. No hand sanitizer in lobby. The hold bar for hands raised at x-ray was sticky! Gross. Trip hazards at elevator. But no hand sanitizer?
