I recently completed my First Aid OFA Level 2 course at St. John Ambulance Richmond, and I had a very great experience. The training was well organized, clear, and very useful. The class was not only insightful and informative but also life-changing. Daniel was my instructor, he was by far the best First Aid instructor I ever had. Daniel's explanations were very clear, he knows the subject he teaches very well and he teaches it with a certainty that awakens interest in his audience (students). He was also funny and engaging enough to keep our attention sharp throughout the long in-classroom day.
First off, I'd like to point out that this one star rating is for Iqbal and not for St. John Ambulance as an organization. The classroom and course material are adequate, and overall the course itself is very straightforward and easy to understand and complete by design. However the class experience is significantly complicated by Iqbal's eccentric teaching style which was mentioned here in a critical review posted over 3 years ago. His class was so well-paced, organized, structured, and effective, and his teaching was well-informed by his life and work experiences.
