I was extremely disappointed! I went for a OFA 3 Renewal. I would think that the topics covered in regard to life saving techniques would be something that would be imperative to renew. Not wound care and putting a tensor bandage on for a sprained ankle. Those are things you see more day to day and skills that are practiced regularly. The refresher should be on life saving techniques and practices. Thankfully I have been fortunate not to require using life saving techniques in 3 years since I did the full course. It's not exactly ideal for ticket renewals primarily because most are seniors or people who have never gone down this road. It's insane you score 100 on the first day test, but cause you weren't on the floor getting rug burn enough givenR there's more to first aid than cpr. That makes up 99% of the two day course. Make sure you're ready for a 30 Celsius room. The paramedics are very aggravating the power, ego it's a lost cause at that location. Frostbite or heat stroke are barely mentioned. Fractures forget it. It's a babysi... read more
