Had a very good experience for first aid training here for the company i work for. Tony our instructor was patient and careful in his teaching methods, shared personal and relatable experiences and most importantly allowed ample time for 'hands on' practical training methods. Highly recommend St.John Ambulance for your training needs.

Unfortunately due to an unexpected medical emergency I was required to cancel my first aid course. I called as soon as I was able to, given that the day of the incident was a statutory holiday (I was still able to call 24hrs before the course started) and was told that I was unable to get a credit or any form of transfer. This has been so frustrating, as I paid $250 for the course, and there is nothing I am able to change about the situation.

I have come here for all my standard first aid (previously OFA1) and recently came here for my advanced (OFA3). We had Tricia who was amazing. She made the class super fun, she pushed us hard, and was super accommodating. She also had a lot of good songs and sayings to help us remember all the very extensive information that we had to cram into our brains!

I had Tricia, and she was one of the best safety coaches I have ever had. We all learnt so much in my class. She works around every type of situation and different types of learners in the best ways. Her songs and positive attitude really help make the classroom a happy place that we all want to go to in the morning. Does she push us? Absolutely. But she should be. We are being trained to SAVE LIVES. And I am not sure about others who have had bad experiences but I need to know I CAN save someone, not just be passed because ... read more

Probably the worst experience I've ever had taking any course ever! Our instructors name was Tricia at the Prince George location who lacked any teaching skills. Rushing through every stage of the course, raising her voice to hurry up through practical scenario's when students were trying to understand the steps. Students felt confused by the chaos. MOST OF THE TIME she drifted into role-playing without explanation and left us wondering what was happening. She quicky moved through senerios while students were still trying to... read more
