My personal experience at St. James Rehabilitation was a very good one. My Mom was there for rehab after a hard fall that made it hard for her to walk. The PT crew Jessica, Jesse, etc. worked with her everyday. All of the Nurses gave her the attention and care that she needed....Sarah, Sharon, Hailey etc. all of them were amazing. The Recreation Dept Evie, Dani, Mike, Jeremy, etc...all work hard to stage events and things to do to make things fun. The Admin/Medical Business Staff, Case Workers, Social Workers, all step up. Nightmare one week stay for my Mom. She was weak following a one week hospitalization for fractures, needed just short term rehab to regain some strength. St James nearly killed her by stopping her routine bowel regimen, and substituting the facility's instead (physician error). She ended up in hospital ICU for a week with severe colitis. Nursing care was otherwise ok.

The staff at St James Rehab is phenomenal! Everyone from reception, dietary, recreation, SW, Case Mgmt, PT/OT, nursing, nursing assistants are caring, pleasant, professionals who take the time to listen and answer all your questions. I also have to mention an experience we will always remember. My mom had a private showing of her favorite movie in her room! It was set up beautifully giving her room the feel of a movie theater.

I had a really disappointing experience with the hiring process. I confirmed my job position, and I was still scheduled for the wrong role. Also, there was no professionalism present during the interview. I hope the recruitment process improves for others who want to work here.
