Seems like the general apathy here is institutional. You’re failing your community with dismissive and indecisive staff in the emergency department, who display an arrogance and commitment to impudence that is frightening. Hornell, and the surrounding communities, deserve better healthcare partners and outcomes.
I came in, in alot off pain and stayed in there for 2-3 hours just for them to say I have the stomach bug and a uti and it makes no sense bc ik that isn’t what my pain is. And when they took my iv out they ripped it out and I was bleeding a lot
Easily the shortest ED visit of my life. Was seen quickly and was treated with dignity, respect and kindness while addressing my concerns that were delicate in nature with tact. NP Billings and Nurse Olivia were great
Billing is terrible. I got billed for services I never received. Customer service is dismal. The nurses and care staff are great, though.
They need to be sued for medical malpractice. My fiancé who is a young woman had heart attack symptoms to a T. The male doctors at the ER did not do ANY chest x-rays OR bloodwork. My fiancé was sent home and told to stop smoking. They did not take this seriously at all and I am LIVID. Find a different hospital THEY ARE TERRIBLE HERE.
