We stayed for three nights. Great location for what we wanted. We were in Red Wing for the Fall Art Festival. The hotel was across the street from the Festival. Able to walk to all of the venues that we want to see. The hotel is historic. The restaurant was good. Different type of menu. They had some unique items.

It was ok. Nothing much to complain about, but really not impressed of what we got for the price. Just not impressed. Not upset we came, but also would not spend money here again.

The St James is a bunch of nonsense. I looked yesterday on their site they had available rooms for a day trip we were planning 3 weeks from now. I booked my wife at the River Blu for a day of relaxation. I then went back to the St James hotel website and it says they don’t have any accommodation anymore. Nonsense so I called. The guy tells me yes we have accommodation but our sales department has made that weekend a 2 night minimum. So the St James would now be making us pay for 2 nights just to stay one night. Classy place. I haven't yet stayed in the rooms, but they have things run on the main floor including Scarlett Kitchen, I am sure it would be great. I come here frequently. I takes me 1 hr to get here. It is a destination for me.
