This is the second time I have visited this medical centre. Both times for my 15 year old daughter. Booked in with a nurse for an iron transfusion following the opinion of her regular GP and another GP (both highly experienced doctors in women’s health). Had a third and unwanted opinion from a doctor at the practice who determined that my daughter’s iron levels were sufficient that she did not need this and refused to have the infusion done. We saw Dr. Gulati for our 8-year-old son who has ASD and ADHD, and the experience was absolutely traumatic. As any parent with a neurodivergent child knows, the process of getting a diagnosis, waiting to see a paediatrician, and starting medication is already extremely emotional and stressful. We used St James for just over a year. We had a bad experience, our first paediatrician was rude and dismissive and treated our son quite poorly. She had my wife in tears. If we were desperate for help and the shortage of paediatricians we would have left after that first meeting. We then requested to move and to their credit they did accommodate this after our complaint. Dr Ogwu has been my GP for two years and he has been thorough in all of the health issues we have addressed so far. He listens well and keeps me informed of latest research and best practices related to my conditions. He also communicates well with other medical specialists I see. I live close to his clinic and was referred to him through word of mouth. Many of us in the local community, people of different ages and states of health, are changing over to now have him as our primary GP.

Dr ogwu is unhelpful, rude and aggressive. I asked for progesterone level testing for my pregnancy after a miscarriage and he screamed in my face that he wasn't a fertility specialist and refused to do the testing until i begged and was in tears. Felt very neglected and scared. Have felt neglected the whole time seeing this doctor but this was the last straw.
