Told me they could look at my water pump. Then told me they don't work on water pumps and sent me a bill. Thanks for charging me money to waste my time. Reporting to BBB

St. James Electric was referred to us whenever we asked if a neighbor or other local who they used for eletrical. When we first called in February 2022, they were swamped and not taking new client. I waiting until furnace season was over in hopes of getting them in and it worked. We had them change out all the old 2-prong outlets to 3 prong, ran some new outlets and such with promise of a standby generator when available. So disappointed that St. James Electric reviewed our job, gave us a ballpark quote, and promised to be in touch with a firm estimate and timeframe for the work and then GHOSTED. No call, no message. When we finally were able to get in touch, over 45 days later, he informed me that he was refusing the job. So, we're back to where we started, but 45 days later--making the likelihood that we can complete the work before the summer season much less likely. Highly unprofessional.
