By far, the best vet in the area. We have taken our dog here multiple times and they are fantastic. The receptionist has helped me so many times with my stressed dog, she has been so lovely. Don’t look anywhere else, they are so kind and caring here.
We found an injured baby crow on St Helena road and it was in pain and suffering, it looked like it had been hit by a car. We rang the St Helena Veterinary Centre at 6.55pm and they answered and said you can bring the bird here and we will take care of the issues. Knowing they shut at 7pm we scooped the bird up in a jumper and ran it up the hill to the Vet, at this point it was after 7pm. They took the bird and was able to put it to sleep humanely. Excellent staff. We've taken our family pets here for over 20 years (dog, cats, budgerigar). We've never had a negative experience. Staff are understanding, thorough and professional. Also recently had a telehealth consultation to save my cat another visit for an ongoing issue.
Dr Bronwen Harper was so compassionate and professional when we sought her help with our pet. After a long time not knowing what was happening with a previous clinic, we happened upon Dr Bronwen who was honest, knowledgable, and kind. Our only regret was not finding Dr Bronwen and St Helena Veterinary Clinic sooner. Thank you for your care.
