An old lady has just returned home after 4 long weeks at St. George’s hospital in Kew. She said that the people there were nice but that after breakfast, she was left on her own all day, stuck in her tiny room with a window that didn’t open. She said to me that she felt like she was in jail. The staff insisted that she wear pull ups although she is continent. She had plenty of underwear but she was not allowed to wear her own underpants. I just spent 4 days rehab after a knee replacement. The whole place is dirty and run down. Im certain the bed i was put in had not been changed after the last patient. The sheets were stained and when the nurse was trying to adjust the bed she found a blanket under the mattress that was dirty. She asked me if I'd like her to put it on my bed. The mattress didn't fit the bed so they stuffed towels and blankets at the bottom so my feet had something 2 rest on. The bed wasn't changed the whole time I was there. On one occasion ... read more

Reporting the Doctors to Occupational Health and safety for the below standard and mismanaged procedures and treatment and unsafe environment my Mother was subjected to in this horrible hospital.

been in several times to the Rehab ward, physio and CRC. Cannot endorse the physio staff enough
