Five wonderful days with 6 mates for Long Tan, Vietnam Veterans' day, spent at the Currumbin RSL. Excellent accomodation, wonderful caring staff, first class location walking distance to everything. Three surfs clubs close by with reasonably priced dining and good company. The beach opposite the accommodation is great for a swim or a walk. We'll be back and looking forward to returning. Only 10 minutes from the Coolangatta Airport about $20 by taxi (they provide a good service). Great views across Rainbow Bay to the skyline ... read more
