My husband recently got surgery here. He had surgery at another hospital in Logan years ago and comparing the two experiences is like night and day. He was not given a designated room just for him for pre-op and post-op. So I was kicked out into the lobby while I waited for hours. That I can understand, but what absolutely floored me was when the nurse came and got me. She let me know my husband was done in surgery and he was expected to leave immediately. The surgery center staff if great, however it's very deceiving to call this an Intermountain affiliated surgical center when in fact they are no longer affiliated with Intermountain. The surgery center is owned by the local surgeons in conjunction with Surgery Partners. Even though the staff wear Intermountain scrubs and they call themselves Intermountain Surgery Center, the lady at registration made it very clear they are not affiliated. Horrible customer service. Sarah is rude and so is Jay. Schedule your surgery at Intermountain, not this surgery center that uses Intermountain on their scrubs, but isn't actually affiliated with Intermountain Health. This is my 49th surgery and I've never been treated so poorly until today.
