Everyone was very caring and attentive.
The Labor and delivery experience is good here. What is not good is the process of being induced. My daughter was told five days ago that she could come in and get induced. Then they Said they were too busy and she couldn’t come in after all. The next day, the same thing happened. And the next three days after that it happened. Then they said she could for sure come in on Monday at 6:45 AM and they had her on the schedule. Then they called her and told her she couldn’t come in because they were too busy. I had an amazing unmedicated birth at this hospital 3 months ago. However, the charge nurse that night (you know who you are :) decided to fear monger me directly AFTER I had my daughter. My daughter struggled to breathe and needed some support in the nicu. This nurse insisted I could not go and see my daughter in the nicu for at least two hours. I just had my daughter here and it could not have been a better experience. Everyone was so amazing but this review is for Nurse Beverly. Beverly- if I could leave more stars, I would. She deserves them all. Nothing happened without Bev at my side. “I’m having some heartburn” two seconds later there she is with Tums. A lifesaver. She was so friendly, so funny, so kind. We had the most amazing birth experience here. Nothing went according to my birth plan (in order to keep baby and I safe - not in any way the staff's fault) but the nurses made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed. I never felt pressured or rushed about anything. We hope to have all of our babies here!
