The St. George Rec Center has become my daily refuge while living here. It’s welcoming, spotless, and has everything you need whether you’re easing into a workout routine or going full beast mode. The gym area is well-maintained, never overly crowded, and the staff genuinely make you feel like part of the community; always greeting you with a smile and keeping the space running smoothly. For a city the size and growth of St. George, it deserves more. The recreation center hasn’t changed in 30+ years. It’s still decent, but the boomers practically live in the racquetball courts, so good luck ever getting one.
The girl at the front desk with the curly hair has a shitty attitude and is rude. I honestly have no idea why they let her work here. It’s fine if it happened only once or even twice since I understand bad days happen but she’s acted this way every time I see her there.
