Driving up from Sydney via Tamworth, and St George is our second stop on the way to Darwin. We planned in advance to stay in St George and enjoy some time relaxing in the thermal springs. After checking the pool times, closing was 4pm, we arrived Friday 8/8/25 at 3.10pm to see the pool attendant was closing the pool. We questioned the time and he told us that no one had been in so he was closing up. Thermal pool is beautiful but swimming pool is not open.
Great facilities, great staff. Thermal pool is lovely and warm on a winters day.
Excellent facility. Hot baths, very clean.
Very nice setup and the pool is spotlessly clean. Spent an hour and a half soaking away aches and pains.
