I would like to thank all the staff at the Barry"s Bay hospital for the amazing services provided by the doctors and nurses. I was amazed at the care, and decisions made ordering cat scan, and operating in a timely fashion. Without it, I wouldn't be writing this!!!

If zero stars were an option it'd be my first choice. As a local we rely heavily on our hospital. Unfortunately the health care system continues to fail us. June 30th I went in to the emergency department. I was checked in , seen by triage and was put in a room quite smoothly. From 6pm onward to 10pm no nurse on duty checked in or even did a follow up on what was done in triage. I would give this little hospital a 10 if I could. I fell and broke my arm while my husband and I were trying to escape for a few days of rest and relaxation. St. Francis was the closest hospital and I am so happy it was. Right from the time we walked through the door until the moment we left we felt so much compassion and respect from Dr Toth and the whole interprofessioal team of healthcare workers that were working May 28/2025.
