I have been to the ER here 3 times, each experience was poor. The first time my fiancée was having an allergic reaction to medication and was told by her (Sanford) doctor to go the ER. The staff was nice, but when the doctor came in it was clear he thought she was overreacting. He didn’t seem to be in any hurry either, despite the fact that the reaction was closing her air way. Have been in quite a few times. I drive myself. Usually. I did just that last week. When the dr and nurse said “ they needed space ?” I said ok but I’m way too loaded to walk or drive. They said “they could wheelchair me to car” I guess I went along with it. Because that night I woke up in bed. My house cleaner had been here. I could tell that. Although the staff is so much better than before. It is VERY DANGEROUS to put a patient in a car to drive that intoxicated…

I cannot say enough good things about the care I received during my time here, especially being my first hospital stay/surgery. From the moment I walked into the emergency room on Saturday night, I felt like I was in good hands. I especially want to recognize John and Lindsay in the ER. They were kind, attentive, and reassuring during what was a very stressful and unfamiliar experience for me. I've been here quite a few times and all the doctors and nurses are super nice and patient I tend to ask the same questions over and over again when I'm nervous but this time one nurse stood out in particular CARVIE left me a little get well soon card I found in my room that was really thoughtful and sweet of her going to get surgery thanks Carvie and staff !
