I had a great experience living at Oak and Umber! While the apartment itself is a bit older, it’s very spacious and comfortable. It’s also pet-friendly, which was a big plus for me—though depending on your neighbors, you might occasionally hear a dog bark. What really made my time here special was the property manager, Jennifer. She’s incredibly pleasant, responsive, supportive, and genuinely friendly. Great community and apartments! Tea at the leasing office was super responsive and helpful. Nice layouts and well maintained units. Quiet location a bit off the main streets while still a close enough drive to downtown Sunnyvale. Awesome place overall!
I’ve been living at Oak & Umber for over a year, and my experience has been excellent. The neighborhood ambassadors Jennifer, Tea, and previously Miguel, are the kindest and most helpful property managers I’ve ever had. They consistently go above and beyond, even helping to pick up packages and securely hold them until I returned. Maintenance requests are always handled promptly. I’ve been living at Oak & Umber since 2020, I moved in during peak COVID. The location is fantastic — it’s a stone’s throw from Safeway, Michael’s, and my favorite bubble tea spot in Sunnyvale, Sunright. It’s also right across the street from a big Korean market and just a short walk from a mini-golf range, and an Indian market. So the neighborhood is fun, and convenient.
