We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the St. Elmo and it was fantastic! The food, drinks, vibe, service, literally everything was great! Everyone was so kind during the planning process as well as the whole dinner. Their dining space is so elegant and is private to the rest of the hotel so you really get to enjoy your event to the fullest. Highly recommend!
A true piece of history. This stunning hotel has been a part of Ouray history since the 1890's. The rooms are absolutely stunning. They kept so much of the original fixtures and charm, while transforming the bathrooms and beds into modern comfort. The major renovation has paid off. The staff was so kind and hospitable. Steph’s Best: Travel Edition! Perhaps it’s icing on the cake, but I’m delighted to learn a MRS. Kittie Heit established this “elegantly furnished” (although I’d use the same words) hotel in “the Switzerland of America” in 1886.
