Wonderful service. Great drinks
This hotel is full of character and charm with a Victorian vibe. The food is amazing. We had linguine with elk ragu and the pear pocket for dessert. The staff are attentive and outgoing, very friendly and personable. I'm so glad I chose this hotel. It's beautiful.
I never write reviews especially not poor ones... In the end I am just trying to avoid you a headache and disappointment. We stayed at the St. Elmo in late July and booked “Suite 11 with mountain views.” Instead, we got what felt like a basement: exposed pipes, cobwebs, dirty floors, broken glass, a rusty heater, flimsy cupboards, and a coat rack with no hangers. Nowhere close to the photos or views advertised. After asking to be moved, we stayed in two other rooms. Neither was a suite, and one was tiny with a broken shower.... read more
Cocktail menu is very impressive and definitely the best in the city. Food was also some of the best on our trip. Hotel and Restaurant staff were friendly across the board.
I went here for dinner at the tavern. The gluten-free options are pretty limited – I was told only two entrees are gluten-free (the steelhead and the vegetable quinoa bowl). I got the steelhead, which was a fine meal but on the smaller side. My partner (not gluten-free) got the pesto pasta. Entrees seemed a little high in price for what we received.
