Went for my annual exam, front desk was great and the wait in the lobby was short. Went through the standard Q&A with the medical assistant, and ended up waiting over 30 min in the room, was only discoovered there was a patient there when they came to check if room was empty. I asked for an update, they came back with "she will be here in the next few minutes. I scheduled my appt on janurary 17th and the only available slot was for June 6th. They just told me today they're cancelling my appointment,that I've waited for and they can't get me back in until August. I was fine waiting a few months for a new patient appt,but now THEY cancelled and won't make it right,they tried telling me that i can only come in on a day im not available and already moved me to that appt slot. I had a referral from urgent care for an exam to be done and when I got there the doctor did not do the pap smear, told me the only option they have is birth control even though they didn't even look at me. I'm going to be billed for a service I didn't recieve. The ladies at the front desk were very nice & helpful. edit: I went to the emergency room after not receiving my exam and only being offered birth control and they found two seperate infections that were spreading. What's the point of having a referral if the doctor won't even look at you or offer you any solutions? Having extreme pain to the point of vomiting and dizziness and being able to do nothing but lay and cry because of pain is not "normal". Dr. Lisa Guyton was entirely unhelpful and I strongly suggest if you are seeking help you look elsewhere and never see her.
This office has provided the worst health care I’ve ever experienced over the past year. I have to beg for test results to be interpreted and was given a medical diagnosis after testing was done by someone other than my doctor over a MyChart message with no information on the condition or next steps.
