A colleague recommended St Cross Garage and I have just had a great first visit to them for my MOT and service. Tim and Barry could not have been more helpful from the original booking in to keeping in touch on the day, outlining exactly what needed doing and keeping me in the loop the whole time. Highly professional, trustworthy and honest. I came to them with a adblue problem and they gave me a fast resolution that a main dealership couldn't. Couldn't recommend enough.
Really thankful for how helpful St cross have been today. My car had been playing up and skidding. They squeezed me in the day after calling to assess it and gave me advice about tyre quality and cold weather. I had convinced myself it was going to be a big issue and they could gave easily got money out of me. Great people, thank you :)
Excessive in the extreme price wise, £180 for an oil change. Well placed garage with a market of property rich half wits who don't know or care if they are being mugged off. I understand business rates, tools, insurance and staff cost money, but these chaps can and do take the piss. It's a "Winchester" garage. It was after this monumental bumming that I started doing my own maintenance, a Haynes manual, YouTube and a can do attitude... Saved me hundreds if not thousands since.
