The lady who works at the front of the ER, I think her name is Jacquie, is absolutely rude and careless. She will talk over you, keep a very ill child waiting for over 45 minutes to get Motrin, etc. I watched her wheel and elderly veteran in a wheelchair and went over the only bump in the entire lobby and when he howled in pain, she just parked him and walked off. Always underserved. Always a long wait. Never enough beds. No ER parking. Difficult admittance during a crisis. 0/10. Edit: 6+ hour wait. After 3 excruciating hours we drove elsewhere.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire hospital staff. I was admitted very quickly without unnecessary waiting. The personnel were polite, attentive, and professional. The examination was done promptly — the X-ray was performed right away. They provided the medication on the spot, so I didn’t have to go to a pharmacy, which was very convenient. 5 star ER experience! I came in on what was apparently a busier than usual Monday during the holidays. Everyone I encountered was professional, friendly and efficient. I was there for 4 1/2 hours but I wasn’t waiting the entire time. They started my blood work very quickly and then after analyzing the results ordered some more tests. This was my first time in the St. Charles system so I was sent a new my chart link and was able to see my test results come in real time.
