Check in staff are extremely rude. Check in nurses barks at older folks who have trouble communicating, I would suggest if you can go anywhere else do it especially if you are a senior .

Dr Nathan Ansbaugh and his team (his male RN, Alphonso from transport) were spectacular. This team was the best! I was in Bend for a vacation with family and friends but had some weird abdominal pain that included the lumbar spine. Even though we spent around 8hrs in this ER, Dr. Ansbaugh and his RN were very thorough. They really did comfort me and address my immediate medical concerns. I am honestly shocked this hospital’s ratings are so low. I have lived in many states and had some pretty terrible experiences. Here at St. Charles, I felt safe, heard, and left feeling confident in my recovery plan. Both doctors, Dr. Rosenberg and Dr. Cassiday, genuinely seemed supportive and hopeful in my recovery without stigma or brushing me off as a waste of time. I am currently pregnant and had an awful experience on the night of 3/28. First, during triage, I was asked to provide a urine sample, which I understand is standard. However, the sample cup was left unlabeled. After being brought back to a room, I was told I needed to provide another sample because the first one was unusable.
