I riding from Rochester MN the entirety of Route 66. On day 1 20 miles out of Rochester I got hit in the face shield of my HD helmet by a baseball sized rock. Ripped the face shield off, cracked the black attachment pieces and I electrical-taped it back to get me back in the road. Stopped in to St Charles thinking that I’d have to buy a new one but for $20 Kim was able to use some spare parts and repair the helmet - it’s good as new!
