I visited the clinic yesterday morning due to difficulties with swallowing and was diagnosed with strep throat at the VA. The antibiotics I received did not seem effective. Fortunately, I decided to go to the Walk-In clinic, where I learned that a virus with symptoms similar to strep has been circulating. After receiving a steroid injection, I felt significantly better upon leaving the clinic. I was also prescribed penicillin pills, and I am currently feeling a remarkable improvement. I never write reviews but I had to because of how upset I was! We took my 3 year old daughter last night for an injury she had on her toe, she was bleeding none stop, we got there around 8 and they kept us waiting for more than two hours because “it wasn’t priority” we ended up leaving and taking her to the emergency room at Aurora up the street, they actually got us in within 20 mins and the doctor there was shocked since her injury was worse that we had imagined and he couldn’t believe they made us wait for so long.
Wen there today for strep throat because I felt it was either sore throat or strep, and the 2 ladies who was with me seemed really self centered and that I didn't matter, I told them it hurts to swallow and she basically told me to shut up and when I do I'll swallow my own saliva so there's a difference between can't and won't.
