I had a wonderful experience here. Dr. Aashna Bansal was extremely professional and very attentive when helping me choose the right contact lenses. A special thank you to Danica - I’m truly grateful for your patience. Spending 45 minutes teaching me how to properly put in and remove the lenses was incredibly helpful and meant a lot. I'm leaving two stars because the quality of optometry I've received at this clinic has been good, but I have often had unprofessional treatment from front desk staff and today was really unacceptable. When I entered the clinic, one receptionist was busy with another client while the other receptionist was having a personal phone call on the office line, talking about her summer plans. Don’t go here if you’re with NIHB/Treaty. The process is extremely slow and they’ll tell you excuses after excuses. As an indigenous persons this place is NOT a safe space. I don’t feel comfortable talking with the staff as they continuously dismiss my concerns. The lady on the phone said they don’t call “all the time” which means they don’t care about their patients. Went in 2020, the doctor dilated my pupils just to be given a prescription way too strong! I never did end up using that prescription.
