Had a Great 3 night stay with all my Family 24 in total , lovely bedrooms for adults and children . Great bar area and dining room with log fire to make it feel really cosy , plenty of space for games kids plus bikes ,fishing rods and anything else you can think of . I couldn't recommend this place enough and can't thank our host as left a lovely Card for my wife birthday which was a lovely touch .

I organise a weekend away every year for a big group of friends. We've stayed in places all over Scotland and the north of England and we all agreed that this is the one of, if not the best house we've ever stayed in! From the beautiful view, to the fun themed bedrooms, endless amount of activities in the house like karaoke, table tennis, bikes and games, to the convenient bus to Rothesay that stops just outside the front door. I can't recommend staying at St Blanes House highly enough. I celebrated here 7 years ago with a big group of friends from university and returned 7 years later to celebrate my 30th Birthday. Still a hidden gem and Helen is so easy to communicate with and very welcoming. Amazing location, amazing house! Long remote walks, sea swims, much time in the local pub, back for big dinner parties and finishing with some partying into the early hours of the morning on the karaoke machine. What an incredible place to stay for large groups of people, perfect for family or informal corporate events. Lots of rooms which are well equipped, large kitchen, bar & lounge. We enjoyed getting together with friends, visiting the local area, walking & cycling.

A beautiful part of Scottish history that isn't as well known as it should be. We walked round the coast from Kilchattan Bay to get to it but some parking is available for a much shorter trip to it. We'll worth a visit!
