My dad will be at St. Ben's Monticello 2 years in March. It was a big transition for him to move from home ownership, to losing his wife, our mother, of 71 years. He is still trying to acclimate his life to living at St Ben's. He is so thankful to the people who come and check on him to be sure he's coming down for dinner or coming to bingo or any of the other many activities that take place. My mother was a resident in the Memory Care unit at St. Benedicts community in Monticello for 5 years. Our experience has been extremely positive. Mom was well taken care of and always treated with the utmost respect. The staff is awesome. They always kept us informed and were quick to respond with any questions or concerns our family had. When we left after a visit we always felt secure that mom was in good hands. After 5 years many of the staff felt like family. My Mother enjoyed being a smaller facility. All staff were friendly and helpful. She received good care and the communication by staff to me was very good. The cost of care was comparable to other facilities and the facility was always clean. Activities for residents were available and regularly participated in. Her care during her final days was exceptional.
My mother was in memory care at St Ben’s in Monticello. We moved my mom from one awful facility to St Ben’s. My mom deserved the best care, she was kind loving mom my whole life, she loved people and cared for many. St Ben’s delivered. The few issues had were resolved swiftly.
