FPL replaced my electric meter at my house but did not assure it was connected to the main office! So my generator came on and has been on for four straight days! All weekend I had no heat, television, or internet since the generator only runs part of the house. On Monday morning I called St. Augustine Motor Works and Dale sent Geoff out. Our home irrigation pump failed and needed replacement along with the expansion tank. Geoff responded to our home and did a tremendous job installing the new system. His expertise and professionalism was very impressive. Geoff is a huge asset to this excellent company.
I’ve recently been having major problems with my well system, for months this went on. I contacted Ken at St. Aug electric motor works and he was so extremely helpful. He went over a few troubleshooting attempts over the phone with me to help guide me as I am a “Do-it-yourself” type of guy. I made some major progress with his help in just a single call. Do NOT use this company! At best St Augustine Electric Motor Works is inept at troubleshooting devices with a motor and cannot discern when a pump is bad, or at worst they perform a series of work that won't address the underlying issue but will result in repeated site visits and hours of unnecessary, billable labor time. They replaced a switch, some wiring, and some pipe for $740 in parts and labor. Then they performed two succesive acid treatments on my well for $800 and $500.
