I was in the ER for 6 hours on Saturday, January 10th, for an undetected uti-turned pyelonephritis-turned bacteremia that was not caught by the urgent care, and the only symptoms i had was projectile vomitting that morning, weakness, confusion and fatigue. this resulted in 3 bags of saline, an xray, a CT, a bag of magnesium, a bag of antibiotics, and blood cultures. thorought it all, nurse Moriah was there to answer questions. I stayed in the Psych unit a few years ago. The staff was so kind and always advocated for my needs. Especially Janae, RN. She ultimately inspired me to become a Psych nurse so I can help others the way she and staff helped me. I’m working towards that now! Thanks, Janae and all of the staff and compassionate providers on the BMU. I couldn’t have gotten where I am today without your compassion and support.
