The staff is amazing. The system of the hospital as a whole needs some work. My husband has infusion every 4 weeks and usually has to wait 1 hour after his appointment time for them to start the infusion because the are waiting on the medicine. I know they need his weight so the medicine can't be ready right at his appointment time but when we have his infusions in Des Moines is medicine is there in 15 to 20 minutes and it's coming from the complete opposite side is the hospital. I can't say enough about the level of care from here. The doctors, the nurses, the front desk, the social worker, and the nutritionist.....from the very start of care, I felt comfortable, cared for, listened to and confident I was in good hands. The infusion center and radiation departments made an otherwise scary situation easier to push through. I have never experienced such a great level of care! They are ALL amazing! I am lucky to have them!!! THANK YOU
