I have litterally never spoken to a more rude, insane human in my life, and this is healthcare? I just can't believe it!!
My primary care physician referred me to St Anthony Franciscan for a mammogram. When I called and made the appointment, I verified that they accepted my insurance. They confirmed. Accepted my card and co-pay prior to procedure. I received a bill for $748. I called Fransiscan immediately and they told me that they accept my insurance but it is up to my insurance company whether or not they will pay it. Very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't recommend them!!
Did my yearly mammogram, paid in full by my insurance as preventative. A few days later I was contacted to retake right side due to motion. It has been over a week, no result but a charge of 700$ for this one xray that dosent seem to be covered by my insurance!
