Over 24 hours and counting in the 'emergency room'. An 83 year old woman who just had a stroke is still on a stretcher in the hallway, sometimes wheeled into the nurse station to get her out of the way. The beleaguered and emotionally numb nurses can only offer sanctimonious and canned salutations. Over twenty four hours to get a call from the Doctor, who then declared she agreed with the seriousness or the situation but admitted she was 'powerless' to get the patient out of the hallway. Staff was really friendly and took care of me while I was there, my only complaint was that a nurse forgot to give me a call light and I really had to use the bathroom

Yikes!! I love the actual hospital, so coming here for the ER was a no brainer.. that was a mistake. We got here early enough that they were not that busy, 3 hours and counting later and my friend i brought in was finally seen for the first part of this mess they have going on here. Normal ER would take them to an intake where they would talk to you to find out what is wrong and then if needed a nurse would come in and administer an IV and take blood for labs. Cold, not intrested in being efficient, I will go to seattle or Bellevue before I ever go to that ER again. Sorry VM hade to team up with them!!!
