I've had experiences accompanied family members and being a patient myself. The waiting in the hall is ridiculous and the way patients names are called out and medical situation is discussed in hallways must violate some HIPPA privacy laws. Also, I don't know if they understaff their R.N. to the point that they forget that when people come in they are sick and feeling very vulnerable. A little kindness and patience would go a long way. The service are very nice and warm. There care is nice and it is easy to get to the place. They have a nice check in process and people able to direct you.

Over 24 hours and counting in the 'emergency room'. An 83 year old woman who just had a stroke is still on a stretcher in the hallway, sometimes wheeled into the nurse station to get her out of the way. The beleaguered and emotionally numb nurses can only offer sanctimonious and canned salutations. Over twenty four hours to get a call from the Doctor, who then declared she agreed with the seriousness or the situation but admitted she was 'powerless' to get the patient out of the hallway.
