Genuinely the most overwhelming ER experience ever. I’ve been dealing with postpartum preeclampsia, I had all of the symptoms to seek medical help. I came in today along with my husband and my little and I had to walk out. EDIT: My Own Experience from here. They should be shut down!!! I went in on medical transport with a pain level of 10 for a sacral Nerve problem (Tarlov Cyst) which is a progressive neurological issue and on the spine is the "S" area at the very bottom part of the "back". They generically labeled it as "Lower Back" and wheeled me straight from Triage to the waiting room in front and Wrongly treated me for "back problems". There are some really wonderful people working at this hospital. The ER nurses are incredible people, they are compassionate, and they care about the people they are treating. I wish I could give the hospital 5 stars but there are just some things that were really difficult as a patient. First, I felt that too often the doctors in the ER kind of minimized how I was presenting and it took much longer to diagnose me. Husband admitted early evening. Apparently (while they NEVER contacted me overnight to let me know my husbands status - I realize my husband is the focus) that was just ok BUT APPARENTLY my husband said he was awake during the night and all he heard was staff down there nurses etc complaining constantly about procedures, other staff, the hospital and the patients. Including swearing. When my husband gently mentioned his concerns, the staff person said “WELL IT’S OK FOR US TO DO THAT AND TALK”. What an awful place - nobody wa... read more
