My first time experience at the ER at St. Anthony's in Pendleton. If it was possible to give zero stars I would. I was put in the hallway, I was promptly ignored. I rang the call button three times after about 2 and 1/2 hours of waiting unattended. The nurse went to the rooms to check in with the patients. I could hear their interactions but she did not come to myself or the other patient waiting in the hall on the beds. After three call lights were ignored. My hubby was sent to ER because not doing well after surgery and they wanted him admitted. The ER doctor did a blood test, had him walk 3 feet with a walker, none had anything to do with his problem, and sent him home.
If you go to the St. Anthony's ER and you get Dr. Fox, you're better off turning around and walking right back out. I went to the ER for severe chest and abdominal pain. He dismissed my symptoms as "feminine issues" (direct quote) and indigestion. Didn't even give me a physical exam or anything. Gave me some Zofran and sent me home. Cut to 3 days later, I was still super sick. I went to Dr. McBee, got an ultrasound, and ended up having to get my gallbladder taken out. Honestly better off going somewhere else if it's an actual emergency. This place takes a minimum of 4 hours to get in it seems like and when I was there for really bad chest pains I waited a few hours before just giving up and there was another group of people with one of them unable to move their leg and they were there waiting for around 7 hours without any help. Truly pathetic.
