Worst business I have been to. I went here because they were listed as an authorized Stihl Dealer, so I figured they would know what they are doing. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I went there to have 4 Stihl chainsaw chains professionally sharpened. When I arrived, 2 employees were there and barely greeted me. This place has terrible customer service!! They reserved the wrong machine for me (I asked for a wood chipper and instead they reserved a stump grinder)! They told me to come back in 4 hours because someone was returning the wood chipper I needed, and when I got there the machine was there, but I was told I couldn’t rent it because someone was coming to buy the machine later that day! I lost an entire days work because of their incompetence and never got any offer to rectify the situation. If I could, I’d give them zero star... read more
RecommendedEveryone at SSR is phenomenal!! The customer service is excellent. They really do make the whole rental process a breeze! They are a wonderful group and are ALWAYS my first choice for rentals, purchasing and repairs.

Had a great experience with SSR, we were looking for a snowblower, and they helped us find one with all of our needs that we wanted and at a great price too. Ben also delivered our snowblower to us down in Torrington, and right before a snow storm which saved us! So thank you and I highly recommend SSR!

These guys are ridiculous. I had a flat tire on my Husqvarna tractor that I purchased from there. I brought in the tire/wheel for them to change it for me. They charged me $44 for the tire (which is 24.99 on amazon) and 89 per hour on labor. I understand markup, and I always try to support local businesses, but their prices are simply too high. It also took them a week and a half to get a tire changed out.
