Found the problem I have and got it fixed
Went in with 10/10 pain and severely dehydrated. After I saw the dr I had to wait so long that one of the workers there got fed up after she paged the nurse several times to help my pain, after no one came she went straight to the dr without me asking. Basic comfort measures like pillows or adequate blankets should be considered part of proper care. I asked for a pillow and was told that they have them hiding somewhere and never got one. I waiting 6 hrs to be told to call my Dr's office in the morning.
I definitely was taken good care of at the ER. They did blood work., ct scan with contrast, urinalysis, chest xray and ekg. No question was left unanswered. The MD explained everything from the results and medication was prescribed with further instructions were given. All of that fantastic care was given in less than 4 hours. I am truly grateful. Thank you to the ER Dr, nurses, technicians and St Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis.
