Dr Macnack has always given our family very comprehensive medical care. The whole staff is very friendly and professional. New Glarus SSM Clinic is our go-to clinic. We are happy there.
Clinic is unscrupulous and doesn’t seem to care about patients. Was having a stroke from a UTI and live in a trailer without running water but this “suburban” clinic staff breathed me for wearing a handmade skirt made out of trash bags that was not see through and very decent. Then they scared my children by sending a certified letter to my home. For the record, new “GLAR-us”, I’m also gender nonconforming and you are officially on my list. Clinic is unscrupulous and doesn’t seem to care about patients. Further, I was not “allowed” to make shared treatment decisions. Mr. Macknack decided that he would not ask me my thoughts on a new medication. Maybe it’s because there is only one MD here. Have asked repeatedly for nurse to call me back and they literally never do. I’ve even tried leaving a message with the front desk. Maybe they are too busy wearing lingerie.
Front desk very very good. Very kind. Staff leaves a little something to be desired. Overly focused on “mental illness” before infections and that just seems off considering I’m doing fine with my mental health. Wondering why the medical staff is doing that. Is it because it’s easier?
I made a general physical appointment in the beginning of March, got a call last week that the appointment needed to be rescheduled, and today I got a call that the doctor isn’t seeing new patients. I have been seen by that doctor before. And was not happy with who I saw before them and previously was not offered any pain management for a very painful invasive procedure. I am not happy with SSM in any of the care I have received in Monroe or New Glarus. I would NOT recommend.
