I want to start off by saying this is specifically a review for the digestive care facility, and that I have no issues with the doctors I had experience with, or even with the receptionist that I mostly dealt with. I scheduled an appointment for 2:30 for a routine well women exam as a new patient. I waited until close to 3:00 then checked in to see if they would call me soon. At this time, the receptionist told me that the provider I would be seeing was with two other patients, her 1:30 and her 2:00. I said ok and sat back down to wait patiently. At 3:30 I checked back with the receptionist and she notified me that my provider was just then getting to her 2:00 patient. I decided to cancel at that point. Dr Tang is fine. She’s approachable and down to earth. My biggest frustration was with the RUDE RUDE RUDE front desk staff. I’m currently self pay as I move over to my husbands insurance and these girls made me feel like everything was an annoyance. My appointment was intended to establish care, so I could be seen by Dr. Tang sooner for a well woman visit when I have my insurance situated. I had a pleasant experience Doctor Tang is a great doctor she listen to my concerns and was very helpful. I would have given 5 stars but the lady at the desk was rude she could be more kind. Especially to first time patients I was going through a miscarriage at the time. I tried to tell them when I went for my ultrasound the ultrasound tech did not even know they should updated my doctor.
Dr. Cheek and her nurse/assistant were truly amazing. I had my first visit with them today and not only were they kind and eased my anxiety, but they also took the time to throughly explain future visits and diagnoses. I look forward to working with them in the future. 😊
