After over 10 years as a patient, I was very disappointed with how my urgent care needs were handled. Despite continuous urgent medical confition for over a month and repeated requests, my referrals for an ultrasound and gynecology were delayed, not marked urgent, and only sent after multiple visits. I had a wellness exam with Dr. Srobona Mitra at Interlake Medical, and my experience with their billing practices has been extremely frustrating. During the visit, there was minimal evaluation, and I was only advised to use over-the-counter medication. A very short follow-up call—just to review lab results—was billed under CPT code 99213-GT for $140, which is intended for a full evaluation and management visit. I had a very poor experience with Dr. Srobona Mitra and Interlake Medical. Not only was I overbilled ($140 under CPT 99213-GT) for a brief follow-up call that should have been part of my wellness visit, but on 01/25/2025, my personal health information was shared with my spouse without my permission—a potential HIPAA violation. There is no email support, and repeated calls have gone unresolved. I cannot recommend this clinic due to unethical billing and privacy concerns.

My family and I have been visiting Dr Mitra since 2017. We had great experiences every time. She is good at her job, examines with patience, explains everything, discusses with us any test or diagnostics required. She will also discuss if tests would not be covered by insurance. We always had good experience with nurses, scheduling team and receptionist. Thank you Dr Mitra and team!
