I am having some additional concrete pads poured around my house. SRM delivered the concrete in a truck lined up by my GC. They thought it would be a good idea to drive the concrete truck on my lawn. Lined up 18 yards for today and asked for a quote - contractor price. I was quoted $2416 by Terry yesterday (Friday 2/24/23) and lined crews up for a 7AM pour this morning. Terry called my concrete lead man at 5:30A to tell him the Card Declined for $3080 - due to a $2500 daily limit on that card thankfully. Most unreliable, unprofessional people I have EVER tried to do business with IN MY WHOLE LIFE. When I call ahead of time for something like concrete I EXPECT IT TO BE THERE!!! And why you ask? Because it is a timed and labor intensive process. no matter I still have to pay people to sit around doing absolutely nothing expecting the delivery any minute in 95 degree heat.
