Gave me incorrect med that took my potassium down so low that I had to stay in hospital 6 or more to get potassium through mouth and 4 bags of potassium through IV ER said I could’ve had heart attack/ stroke with potassium that low. Want be returning back there for sure

I want to give a shout out to Shay that works in the lab. After my experiences with Sentara in different locations, her smile and her passion make the world brighter for patients. I became Dr. Husen's patient in early June 2024, and see her often because of my complex health after struggling to get timely and appropriate care with prior provider. As a disabled veteran, retired Navy Chaplain, and Board Certified Chaplain (who works in a non-Sentara hospital, btw), I was looking for a provider who collaborates with a patient for best care.
