Dr. Iyer is very attentive and listened intently to my concerns. He follows up and asks for my input with treatment options. I was able to schedule and follow up with him promptly. He is a very caring doctor.
It was quickly clear Dr Iyer doesn't have up to date experience or knowledge with Endo/PCOS (he told me my endo might've cleared on it's own because no one has visually seen it since my surgery in 2004 and that the pain on my right side couldn't be from the cysts and fibroids on the left side). Dr.Iyer, never listened. I believe he never bothered to read my chart. Because of that my D and C was a total and complete fail. I’m very worried that my condition has not been resolved. Dr. Iyer does not get that his lack of care has made me very anxious. He was a referral as my primary Dr. retired. I don’t recommend him at all. Am currently looking for another Doctor
I recently had seen Dr. Iyer as a new gynecologist. I’d been having issues with hot flashes and he put me on an estrogen patch. It worked great until I found out from my new gynecologist that I wasn’t supposed to be on a patch with just estrogen; needs to be with progesterone. I now have been diagnosed with adenomyosis. I never felt heard by Dr. Iyer. I also did not receive enough details during each appointment. Needless to say I left this office and am now being well taken care of. Do not trust this man he believes In his own beliefs and he told my best friend she was fine when she had an ectopic pregnancy, that almost killed her. She had to be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. do not trust this doctor if ur a female.
