I mean I honestly can see why this place was closed because I took one bite of the catfish and threw up 😭😭😭 $65 worth of food n everything got thrown away. My 6 yr old opened his plate n immediately said the macaroni was trash. Hell my cat didn’t even want the food either 😭😭 I’m very disappointed

This place cooks up some amazingly good soul food. The portions are big enough that I forget how semi pricey it is. The customer service is fantastic. They’re always happy and smiling. Only problem is it’s in the mall. It’s a bit of a trek through shoppers to get to. But it’s well worth the wait. Would be 5 star if not for the mall. Had to get cash app so I can order over the phone.

every time I come here, the food is absolutely delicious. The candied yams are like Christmas morning in your mouth shut up. 🤤

Tried the corn pudding last week and it was absolutely putrid I’ve never tasted anything that horrible before. Only writing the review so whoever is higher up there will know either that was something old and spoiled or it was not made right. I’ve never had corn pudding that tasted like that. it spilled over into my other side, so I could only eat a portion of the other side, which I ended up not eating at all because the whole thing just tasted like the spoiled corn pudding.
