Proper color, fitmemt, availability. I replaced two Tactics LLC lowers with the NDS lowers and each rifle looks much better. The Tactics lowers were A2 lowers converted to A1, and 604 specs. Wavy lines, peeling finish (gray paint over black anodizing). Now what to do with the two extra lowers... Maybe a 607, and XM177E2. Decisions, decisions...
Their products and service. Both are way above par. I have used Nodak Spud products for several years. Harlan and Mike go out of their way to make their customers happy.

I guess if you're the only one making the retro receivers you can be as slow as you want to be. The wait time is bullshit. If these clowns had competition maybe they would get off their dead ass and up production. Last time they get any of my business, oh wait they don't care.
Got my 18S receiver in and mounted today and couldn't be happier. Great fit, finish and product. Everything dropped right in. Finally a metal lower is out there to replace my damaged 180b that's been sitting in the safe for 3 years!!
Excellent products. Well worth the wait to get 'em. I've built two retros - an XM16E1 style and an XM177E2 style - and I wouldn't have picked any other receiver for either.
