We scheduled an intake call and were left waiting over 30 minutes past the agreed time—no heads-up, no timely communication. While the rep did eventually apologize, it still disrupted my workday and felt careless. The real issue is the misleading info on this provider’s profile. As you can see, it lists a wide range of insurances—including ours—but in reality, they’re fully out-of-network and charge $375 for 40 minutes or $500+ for longer sessions. Very deceptive! They list on searches that they accept insurance, and then only after you go through your issues, tell you they do not accept insurance. Nothing like letting someone go through the process to only find out they do or accept insurance. Especially when the “intake” asked me to delve further into my issues prior.
My therapeutic work with Dr. Britt was helpful but the practice’s business practices are egregious. They charged for what they defined as “extended” sessions without ever explicitly mentioning the price difference or even explaining that “extended” sessions existed and what they are.
