Dr. Shiffman has been an incredible advocate for my health and wellbeing. I’ve been seeing her since March of 2022 when she diagnosed me with SIBO and SIFO. Since then, she’s helped me deal with hormonal changes due to perimenopause and identify ways to manage my thyroid and weight. I’m so grateful for the Spruce MD practice.
Living in Cashiers, NC , it is very helpful that Spruce is able to advise us here as well as in office visits . The care has been very individualized , listening to our concerns and implementing plans to resolve them .
After starting sessions with Katherine Taylor, RD I was immediately impressed with how engaged she was in determining a strategy for my unique UC situation and not reading from a script or some guided process. Her expertise and care shines through and the improvements to my day to day life are already showing! My dietary changes are positively supporting my medical treatments, I’m losing weight but not starving, and suddenly my joints feel amazing! Looking forward to continued improvements! Highly recommend!

I love my monthly facials with Megan. It’s the most relaxing experience and I feel good knowing that she uses products that are non toxic and actually good for my skin. She also takes the time to educate me on things regarding my skin ( and so much more too - but that’s just a bonus).
