I am 71 and was unable to walk without a walker, often needing a wheelchair. Spencer has been my physical therapist for 3 years and during that time he has challenged me to do what I thought was impossible. I can now use a cane as my balance has greatly increased. The pain of osteoarthritis has all but disappeared. With Spencer’s patience and encouragement I am looking forward to skiing with the Ignite Adaptive Sports program. This is a miracle! Dr. Spencer and Spruce Health are such a great hidden gem in Boulder for physical therapy! I stumbled across Spruce after going to Altitude for a few months and would highly recommend Spruce. I was able to schedule an appointment and come in on the same day. Dr. Spencer is super awesome and very knowledgeable about climbing injuries as he's a climber himself. Andre, Spencer, and Cyndi are amazing. I came in with a shoulder injury from skiing. Within two sessions Spencer had me back to full range of motion. These folks provided a standard of care not often seen in today's medical environment and it is clear that they are not only passionate about what they do but genuinely care about their patients.
