Three stars because the haircut was fine, nothing spectacular. Went here thinking it was still run by fellow queer folks only to realize it had been taken under new management. The salon itself was extremely quiet. I felt a little uncomfortable as a queer person and perhaps a little duped?

This was my first time Jennifer styled my hair at Spruce. She made me feel welcome; listened to my hair objectives and my limitations styling it; and helped me figure out a cut that would work. Jennifer made me feel at home as we conversed. I found having her wash my hair quite relaxing. I’m pleased with my hair, but judge for yourself. My post-haircut bathroom selfie is posted here as well.

This place is excellent. Jennifer cuts my hair very nicely and it takes less than 30 minutes. She's very friendly and professional. I highly recommend her.

I had an amazing experience with Katelyn at Spruce! I've been trying to let my gray grow out, but the ends of my over-processed hair made for a really tragic look. Katelyn listened, understood, and somehow did gray blending that has turned my hair into a healthy head of magic. I'm so appreciative and relieved!!
