Excellent office staff.. loved Dr. Hancock and the vet tech.... office temperature was warm and the wait in the room without assistant there was a bit long.. but Dr. Hancock was attentive as was the vet tech and the office staff... have an appointment for another visit now too! :) Overall a 5 star visit except for the temp and wait ... they worked with my budget to help my dog! Greatly appreciate this vet!

We have had nothing but positive experiences from the entire staff and doctors at the Spruce Creek Animal Clinic. The person who gave this clinic a "not recommend" must be confusing it with another clinic (as this Clinic is on Nova Road and not Spruce Creek, it's the only non-malicious reason I can think of for such a post). We rescued two feral kittens when they were about a month old last year (Oct. 2013). I can only tell you my story and you decide. My friends cat of 15 years was dying. It was his time to go, unfortunatly it was at a time that neither of us could afford the proper way to let him go. On top of the extreme sadness and distress of watching helplessly as his cat was suffering I knew to just get to my vets, Spruce Creek Animal Hospital. Excellent staff. Very kind and attentive. My 9 yr old cat hasn't been eating for a few days and Dr. Trantham took his time explaining everything. After going through very many vets between Daytona Beach and Port Orange, I love this office. They are very reasonably priced and are open on Saturdays as well. I can not explain my gratitude for the peace of mind I received.

Excellent vet – we totally disagree with a review of this office that gave it only one star. Our new bull mastiff puppies are receiving excellent care and attention. It is a busy office with 3 vets. It is not a new building, but clean, neat, and happy personnel. Our questions answered and support staff attentive and caring. We have had bull mastiffs for the past 15 years and during our many travels have visited vet offices in Colorado and Texas including Texas A & M Vet school. Dr Hancock is our favorite of all. I had the complete opposite experience with this clinic. My little dog got hit by a car and they were open . We called ahead and they met us outside ready to help. The staff was very caring and concerned. They took care of my doggie. They gave the correct diagnosis, and proper treatment. The office and examine rooms were clean and the staff was very competent . The charges were reasonable too. I am very particular about my pets care and would recommend this place to anyone.

poor facility and poor service – i took my dog to be diagnosed and treated at this office, i was not provided with satisfactory diagnosis nor service and had to take the dog to another clinic the next day to get the services he needed. the service was poor, no diagnosis was made and i did not get any answers to what the problem may have been. the second clinic provided the correct diagnosis and the right treatment as well as addressing all my concerns and answering all my questions. this office is very old and rundown and th... read more
